London HR- Recognition in a post-Covid world

Each Person is collaborating with London HR, on the 14th of April to host an interactive webinar with leading HR professionals and business psychologists to discuss the role of rewards and recognition in the workplace post-Covid-19.

Covid-19 has reshaped the way businesses work and accelerated the need for better workplace wellbeing. With over 7.4 million people now reporting mental health issues as a result of the new remote working reality, the panel will discuss, from an HR, scientific and academic perspective, just what employee rewards and recognition is and how it can be implemented into the new working world.

The discussion will explore the changing nature of workforces, how businesses can integrate rewards and recognition into their workplace culture, and how we can prepare as new working practices become established and permanent – be that working from home, returning to the office or a combination of the two.

Wendy Dignan, a leading psychologist and mental health expert will be joining the webinar. Having just won Mental Health Provider of the Year 2020, Wendy specialises in the treatment of anxiety, stress and depression. As a result of her experience and expertise, Wendy has been featured in a number of broadcast media including BBC Radio 4, Hello! Magazine, The Daily Mail, The Times and Vogue magazine.

Known for being an expert in her field we are thrilled to be welcoming Wendy to the panel to discuss the widespread effects of Covid-19 on mental health and wellbeing. We look forward to hearing insight into the different ways we can tackle mental health issues and implement wellbeing strategies moving forward.

Davina Barton, head of Learning and Development at Bupa will also be joining the panel. Throughout the pandemic, Bupa has continued to reward and recognise their NHS staff for their dedication, selflessness and compassion by implementing a range of reward benefits and perks at work.

The panel will discuss why rewards and recognition is more important than ever and how more businesses can integrate recognition schemes to improve employee morale, wellbeing and performance in the future workplace.

With over 10 years of experience in the reward sector, Abby Simmons, Each Person’s Chief Commercial Officer will also be discussing her thoughts on what recognition will look like post-covid-19 and how businesses can execute a reward and recognition scheme to help maintain employee engagement, as well as the various ways HR trends may change after Covid-19.

The interactive webinar will take place on the 14th of April from 4:30pm-6:00pm, as well as in-depth discussions, there will also be an informal Q&A. The event is free of charge and we encourage anyone who can to join the discussion and learn more about the many opportunities that lie ahead and how businesses can incorporate effective rewards and recognition strategies post Covid-19.
